There are a lot of nice English cities and a lot are nicer than London (as an whole) and sheffield too. http://www.examiner.com/article/the-ten-most-beautiful-cities-england - I've not been to all these cities but I've been to about half and if you have any appreciation for anything else but the...

On another note there seems to be a lot of love for PSG on here. Which is surprising considering they are basically just the French version of City and Chelsea, who everybody seems to hate.

I agree, never understood the fascination with boiling in the sun all day with backdrops of brown, sun scorched earth. Some of the surrounding areas around Manchester are lovely (like where the players live for example). Most of England is the same too if you stay away from the large cities...

    Pre-season: International Champions Cup

The Mk Dons game was a year ago with our second team playing, so that seems a bit silly to mention. I agree with the rest of your post though and although I think United will be strong this season, Barcelona are the best team in Europe at the minute and everybody will be hoping to avoid them.

    Pre-season: International Champions Cup

You might have a few knob heads saying stuff like that, but for majority of fans (at least in Manchester) it's a friendly that means nothing in the grand scheme of things. I'm looking forward to it because although it's a friendly, any football is better than no football and you can do worse...

    Van Persie

I can't decide if you are either just not very bright or if you're actually a magnificent WUM? A four year old child is ridiculous for crying? ...and that because the said four year old child was crying, that somehow translates to all 'United fans crying'? ...Ah well, at least if you are going...

    Christian Benteke

He's better than the shit strikers Liverpool bought when they did have CL football on offer. A good player, I'd rather Liverpool not buy him and I wouldn't mind him as a plan B for United. If Liverpool did buy him I could see him being a 15+ goal player for them.

Cheers bud and there are some good posters here too. I just end up getting annoyed though with the anti-Premier League agenda which always seems to creep in. I've no idea why people can't post without needing to add snide digs.

Is it impossible to have a discussion on here without people slagging off the Premier League? It's why I stopped posting in here in the first place. The Premier league is obviously a high level league and everybody knows that (at least anybody able to discuss objectively), just like La Liga is...

    David De Gea

That is a risk, but I think if nothing else he is at least professional enough to not let his game drop. It might put RM off signing him afterall. If you had the choice of either selling Ramos to us and buying De Gea or both teams keep their player which would you choose? I get the feeling...

    David De Gea

We are the losing party no doubt about that, he's fucked us royally. However, the best of two options available to us is to keep him for the next year. You're not dealing with a small club here, the money means very little to us. Another season on recovering from the fallout of losing Sir Alex...

    David De Gea

Yeah there's that too. Makes no sense for us to sell him, even less so than for any less than we want.
  13. Unbiased United

    David De Gea

Who gives a fuck what he wants. If Real Madrid want him they can pay the price we want, otherwise they wait and get him on a free. He's massively underrated on here and personally I hope we reject any offer and keep him for the next year. Whatever fee we get for him, even £30 million, is nothing...

CL semis: Bayern - Barca 3-2 (3-5 agg.)

Barcelona to progress and then win in the final too. A truly frightening front three and at the risk of hyperbole accusations, possibly one of the best ever front three. Not that I take any pleasure in saying that though, especially with that cretin Suarez in there. Should be a great game.

    Raheem Sterling

Whatever you think of English players, there have been some that are clearly good enough for big non-English clubs, it's just they often prefer to stay in England. Rooney Scholes Lampard Gerrard Ferdinand Seaman Beckham and Owen (who obviously did, and although Owen didn't play that much I...

It's not just Brits, pretty much all the English speaking countries are the same. With the English language being so prevalent across the world there isn't seen to be the need for it to most people. I'm not saying that's right though, I think everybody should show an interest in speaking a...

CL: Barca - Man City 1-0 (3-1 agg.)

I think it could go either way. I'd probably have Barca as favorites, but it's only a matter of time until City actually stop being terrible in Europe, so you never know. That said, Barca's front three is terrifying on paper (even better than Real Madrid's imo) so if Suarez comes back into...
  18. Unbiased United

    David De Gea

People say the British media is bad (which admittedly it is generally) but the Spanish media is even worse. From Marca Photoshopping pictures to make it look as though RM had as many fans in attendance as United in the US, to the lastest De Gea reports. Now it's looking like De Gea is more...

    David De Gea

Yeah he said he struggled a bit when he first joined, as you'd expect being so young in a foreign country. He's got everything he could want here now, if we get back to our previous levels I think he'll be with us for the next decade. The only risk of him leaving is if we have more seasons like...
