Well, that's just my opinion buddy, we are all allowed one. Not just Ronaldo though, I'd even say an handful of players deserve it over Messi. Suarez (who I hate) and Neur, who has been flawless, are the two certainties in my eyes.

That's not true. As much as Barca fans might not want to hear it, Ronaldo and Messi have always been at a very close level, with Messi edging it. So baring that in mind, when one players better than he has before and one plays worse, then my argument makes perfect sense.

There might be something in that, but on the whole I'd say most of them still hate him. He does still speak favorably (in public) about United, so I'm sure that keeps their dislike of him fairly raw. Anyway, I'm detracting from the Messi debate, so I'll leave it at that.

I should also add, that over the span of their career's I think Messi has been the better player for what it's worth, but again, that isn't the debate.

It seems a lot of Barca fans need to take off those rose tinted spectacles. Ronaldo has clearly been the best player in the world over the past season. But no, if he wins, you guys keep telling yourselves it's because of some voting bias, or whatever it is you guys are clinging to.
