His assist stats are super misleading this year. I've watched a lot of Real matches this season and only like 3 assists were genuinely great pieces of creativity to set up teammates. The rest were mostly layoffs that resulted in the teammate creating the goal himself or blasting it in from distance.

I've never understood why players go to very poor leagues for more money. They're ALREADY RICH. What could Xavi gain from a couple extra million as opposed to staying in his home town as a useful bench player or in a coaching capacity.

I can't stand Ronaldo but in recent matches I thought maybe he was carrying an injury but then he made me change my mind by running full speed to do his super saiyan power up celebration after every goal.
