    Borussia Dortmund

The only player they sold to Bayern was Hummels. Götze had a release clause and Lewandowski left on a free after they refused to sell him to Bayern and kept him against his will, opting against the money (and contrary to what was expected he performed well after a few weeks of sulking)...

I think Watzke & co travelled with the team to Freibug today. The ominous Barca delegation seems to have disappeared but unless they're in Freibug too I doubt anything is happening.

Dembele's actions have added some unnecessary toxicity to the whole story. A first offer was rejected and an improved offer hasn't been made thus far - not like BVB has closed the door completely, so rebelling like that was premature. He wants BVB to act in his interest by letting him go, so why...

Why waste time with such an offer if they know it'll be rejected? Rather just increase the fixed price a bit with fewer bonuses (no silly BdO clauses). I doubt BVB would insist on 150 if they received more than 100M up front.

Deducing moral acceptability of present injustices from past injustices = paralogism

 No. It's about compensation for a transfer that would comoletely derail their preparations and planning. How dare clubs refuse to roll over when we want one of their best players? Smaller clubs than Barça have sporting ambitions of their own. And Dembele is a key part in that. Not...

Ditto. And there's nothing much he can do in a World Cup year but to stop sulking and put in his performances. One more reason Barça needs to decide on a strategy fast - pay up or drop out. Not take half a week to prepare another offer. The time for negotiating is short as it is and this whole...

I'm surprised by the lack of understanding for BVB's position by some. People see that it's difficult to replace a key player like Neymar with only a few weeks left in the transfer window, but don't recognise that Dortmund has the same problem with even fewer time left and Dembele being a key...

They also write Dembele was annoyed because of that and trained half-heartedly. General mood among BVB fans has shifted to having accepted he'll likely go, I feel.

Just speculation, it says they would probably give in at at least 110M + X based on Watzke's words that 100 is not enough. Ruhrnachrichten are reliable for Dortmund but here they are just recapping and summarising the "Spanish press"

Ditto. Can't see any of this happening without their image taking a big hit.

He also posted a pic of a red and blue coloured Nintendo Switch on his Instagram story, if we're going into that level of analysis.

Amazing how the words are almost exactly the same as those by Bayern fans in 2013. Will hopefully go similarly well.

If the FFP rules meant for dealings like that to happen, this wouldn't be considered an inventive loophole. And as such that is problematic as it is effectively making a mockery of the rules and rendering them useless. That's why UEFA should act regardless of whether the Neymar transfer was...

The same sources they had when reporting on Verratti all summer, and they were rubbished by PSG fans back then as having no clue.

    11 - Ousmane Dembélé - V1

He's posting what he sees that fits his agenda. No links whatsoever to more reliable sources than MD pointing out Dortmund's refusal to rule anything out and hinting at a will to negotiate, but now suddenly an MD article (of all sources) that says the opposite.

    11 - Ousmane Dembélé - V1

Makes no sense that they'd refrain from a clear statement publicly but say he's intransferable in private either, especially with BVB fans in panic and with statements like "no way, no chance" in the past.

Apparently MD is a valid source when they report bad news for Barça but rubbish in all other instances

That's why I said review the rules. If PSG can spend that money without breaching FFP, UEFA needs to act anyhow, as it would cement FFP as a joke. That said I don't know enough about the Neymar deal or FFP rules to determine whether that deal went according to FFP rules. And 160M€ + bonus for...

Ignoring FFP, will anybody in the football world take PSG seriously after spending 300M + on transfers (seeing they also want a midfielder)? It just makes their shady relationship to FFP more obvious and would cause UEFA to act in one way or another (review the rules or investigate PSG).
