Missed the entire mercato in 2020, and only returned on August 29 in 2021. Don't you remember that we started both this and the previous season with Neto in goal? Missed one month in 2019, true, not all three.

The saddest part is, we could have gotten his replacement this summer, on a free, who is also a former La Masia graduate. Onana was ticking all the boxes, and yet Barca still ignored him. Should have been considered at least for competition, if they are not sure he would be an improvement.

yearly does mean every year and twice in 8 years not quite as dramatic as made out and nor for made up reason either which makes no sense.

There are still a few GKs worth looking at this summer that might not end up costing 40m+.

Guys like Robert Sanchez who is Spanish and plays for Brighton or Alban Lafont who plays for Nantes and is having a great season. At the very least bring in a top talent for actual competition instead of a guy like Inaki Pena who's riding the bench again for Gala.

He was available for 5/8 million cause his case was still going on and If Im not mistaken only Arsenal and Inter were interested him. While I was a huge proponent of buying him the guy has apparently been leaking goals since his return and it has gotten so bad that Ten Hag even sent him on early vacation.

Still , pretending Mats is some good GK won't get us anywhere. Same applies to all the other past it veterans.
