He's 32 years old, what do you mean?
Today's 30+ year olds have definitely a lower percentage of using SM frequently than 20 year olds or even younger. If I combine that lower percentage, his public behaviour and his generic SM posts, I'm pretty sure he doesn't write his posts personallly. But I could be wrong of course.

Surely if he can't displace a 40 year old Neuer he really should retire from the NT. Not that Germany have another up and coming GK, or do they?

They have a couple of highly rated U21 GKs but no guarantee they will amount to anything.

Ter Stegen is world class, he is just unlucky to play in the era of the greatest ever GK. There is nothing wrong being sub for Neuer.

The Varane of goalkeepers.

Looked like prime Oliver Khan in one game against Bayern and managed to make a career out of it.

He was the best player in LaLiga 22/23, what are you talking about? Also in Valverde’s term he was as important as Messi.

International wise he is a bit like Lehmann to Kahn. But atleast Kahn knew when to call it a day, and when Lehmann finally got his shot he was rather good.

Every time I do see Stegen in Germany though, he has been rather shit. But that was pre-hairjob. So maybe now he cracks it.

Kahn was forced out, he was made a backup and essentially told his time is over in 2006.
Same with Muller currently, they are essentially letting them act like they have retired.
Now, Neuer is older than Kahn was in 2006, and actually clise to his age when he retired from football all together, but Naggelsmann will never bench a GK that is actually older than him.

There is no sure thing in the horizon, couple of GK in Bayern youth system, Mio Backhaus whom we were linked to. But Germany is a country you can always bet that a GK will step up at some point.

I mean in 2008, Neuer was like a 5th choice, after Lehman, Timo Hildebrand, Enke, Adler.

Lehman retires, Timo became shit after Valancia move, so Neuer is 3rd choice. Enke took his life (rip) and Neuer is backup GK, Adler gets injured before 2010 WC and Neuer is starting and suddenly became one of the elites.

I'm so sick of having this matador keeper. Look at that Grealish goal. We should take the money we were going to use on Nico and use it on Emi Martinez no BS.
