1 - Marc-Andre ter Ansplant

Yeah, I didn't feel safe with him at all... He seemed to be glued to the goal line and didn't make his presence evident in the area...

He also had the usual close call with a risky pass, so it's time to get those checked...

Exactly that.

He did look shaky but his defense let him down a lot and he's not to blame for that. He needs to do better but that sort of confidence comes with a series of easy clean-sheet games (as it did with Bravo) which he simply doesn't get playing UCL knockouts and finals. Hope he gets la liga, he's seen the 'baptism of fire' enough.

The last thing I was expecting after this game was someone blaming Ter Stegen, but I guess the usual Barca fans overreacting never stops.

It's not like he caused those goals, but he could have done more. I am a big fan of him, but like said he is not aggressive enough, stays on line he should go forward more to reduce attacker's shooting angle.

If it was Bravo who conceded 4 goals the forum would ask for his head even if hes not guilty for any of those goals

After the fiorentina game, it appears he's been instructed to stay inside the box all times. The sweeper keeper in him being coached out of his game. De la FuenteOUT.

Yeh, poor positioning for the most part tonite, esp on that FK. smh.

that's bullshit, Bravo is actually well-loved here, after an insane season and Copa America.

yes he is from some members, look through the ter stegen thread, so many are asking for him to be first choice in all competitions, instead it should be the other way around, Ter Stegen got so many fanboys its unreal
last season some members were eagerly awaiting for a Bravo mistake so they could bash on him

JUst because some (including me) want TS to start doesn't mean we hate Bravo. :) We simply consider him more perspective talent in log run.

I wouldn't blame any of the goals but the first one on him. The defending was so dreadful there is no way you could realistically blame anything on Mats at all. How many free headers, penalties, and tap ins are our defense going to give before we stop blaming the keeper? Even the free kick could have been avoided just by focusing in the opening minutes.

He is not to blame for any of the goals. Some of you actually think he should or could have saved that free kick? Ridiculous.
But what I did not like was his play with his feet. Some bad first touches so the Sevilla players were able to pressure him which made him hit some inaccurate passes. That is usually his biggest strength. Could have helped to bring the team's confidence back with those.

I am worried that he's not good enough. Almost nothing he has done in the last few months made me think he is a world class keeper or can become one. He has done what was asked of him and was very good with his feet, and that's it. World class keepers make saves when no one expects them to. I hope he will play some games in La Liga and prove me wrong, but it doesn't look like it.
