Bravo played behind the same defense. What i see is that Bravo broke a record last year, and conceded only once iirc in the three matches he played this year.
On thw other hand,Mats has conceded 11 goals in like 5 matches.
He should have saved the first one...That shot was good, but he was out of his position in the first place
diDi my friend, I am a fan of Ter Stegen's and I have always liked him and supported him, by the way. I think he was very solid for us last season, but since the U21 World Cup this summer game where he conceded 4 or 5 goals I don't remember, he just hasn't been good lately. Having him at goal doesn't inspire any confidence these days, that's it.
I don't know if it is a confidence/mental issue or that he is going through a tough spell, or that he is just not that good enough. I don't know. I tend to think he can be a lot better because the few games that I watched him playing for Gladbach he was a lot better than this.
Has anyone considered that a mature leader like bravo organises his defence better, meaning it's not a shambles like when ter Stegen is back there? That way there's less one v one scenarios.
That same defense was piss poor tonight, they wouldn't magically played better just because of bravo. Pique's mistake for the second was because he was under pressure on the midfield. Defending today was abysmal. 3 one on ones.Bravo played behind the same defense. What i see is that Bravo broke a record last year, and conceded only once iirc in the three matches he played this year.

Which defense in the world leaves their keeper out for THREE 1-vs-1?
Sure, he could've done better, but the defense has a bigger explanation to do.
Bravo would have organised the defence better.
