Are you seriously insinuating Bravo is better or more important than Valdes was, especially in here?

Man...

Do you understand what you read?

Not insinuating anything. Everybody knows what VV did at Barca. Just talking about where the career of the player is today.

Love the way the MATS fan boys have resorted to comparing Bravo to VV since with MATS the comparison is unfair.

The other user didn't compare anyone. He was saying he misses Valdes, a true legend, and not Bravo, which is not a legend.

YOU compared Bravo with Valdes to mock the final years of the former (which everyone knows it was ruined by a very bad luck).

Also, funny how you often come here to preach respect for a former player, implying we are not Barça fans if we don't, but then easily do that with a TRUE LEGEND.

Man...

Goes to show you clearly don't understand what you read. He said he missed VV and then talked about that near post sociedad fraud. By the way, Bravo is only a year younger than Valdés.

Maybe take some english classes or use google translate to read and understand the forum better.

stegen or bravo .. one thing i'm very sure of .. i'm not missing Valdes i'm convinced we lost a liga or 2 straight because of him (2006-2007, 2007-2008) .. you can talk all you want about the Sweeper not much of a keeper thing .. but Pep hadn't come by that time .. we were not a a super tiki taka team which means keeping was more important than sweeping .. he cost us games during those 2 seasons ..

Yeah, keep doing personal remarks and ignoring your huge hypocrisy about a TRUE BARÇA LEGEND.

Lol.

Out of fun, if Bravo is NOT Barca's legend, what about Neymar then?

Is Neymar currently Barca's legend?
(If his Barca's career would end tomorrow, would you consider him as Barca's legend?
If yes, why is he a legend, and Bravo is not?)

Could argue neither are.

Bravo was brilliant in his two seasons here, but remember that he played in the league. The cups we won was not with him standing in goal. So we won a CL and two Copas without his contribution too. The team was firing on all cylinders although Bravo made life easy by not fucking up regularly.

And my point is not to say that the Leagues weren't important, because IMO, that should always, always and always be our priority.

But just saying; He wasn't a demigod responsible for winning Barca all these titles when he didn't take part in half of the trophies won.

Neymar isn't club legend either but he surely has the chance to be one.Bravo doesn't have this chance anymore

Bravo is not a Barca legend. He is a bit like Yaya Toure. Players who did their jobs great, but without reaching such a level of longevity and consistency that you identify their careers with Barca almost instantly. As for Neymar, he is like Henry right now for me, in terms of Barca status. His young age gives him the chance to become a legend here for sure.

I love how dedicated you are to hating on Neymar, but I've gotta say, I don't consider either one to be a Barca legend. Both Neymar and Bravo only have two good seasons here...

Both of them are far from being Barça legends

No idea why we're discussing if Bravo is a legend here if noone has said so. It's obvious he isn't.

He could have been one if he had carried on performing like he did in his 2 seasons here if MATS hadn't pressured for the board to make a choice between the two (and they had chosen him).

Strange thing letting go of a player who has done his job so well as Bravo. Don't remember many cases of that in Barca.

And Mandrake's streak of stirring up shit and coming up with factually incorrect information continues.

As several others have told you before, with statements by the players, there's nothing to suggest the club made Bravo leave. Wanted to keep both, but Bravo wanted to play in all competitions and so did ter Stegen. That led to Bravo himself leaving after being contacted by City.

Bravo most likely would have played in the CL and Copa del Rey this season had he stayed, although lost the league due to a change of roles. A role ter Stegen played for two years.

You might not remember any such cases because you didn't start watching Barca play until Claudio Bravo joined. After all, 95% of your posts are in the Bravo and ter Stegen threads, along with in the threads of your other fellow Chileans like Alexis and Arturo Vidal.

I wonder why?

DonAK, I admire your dedication to have 17.000 posts on a Barca forum. I think that proves that you're a real fan who also has alot of time on his hands. I wish I could post several times a day on every single thread on this forum like you do. I freely decide not to.

MATS threatening to leave interviews if things didn't change are online. I've posted them here before. He was definitely pressuring. Of course Barca would have liked to keep both, maybe give Bravo only CDR. That's basiclly pushing the player out.

At the end of the day though, it looks like people here are starting to realize it was a bad choice. Which I said all along.

A good one.

You freely decide to only post in the threads of your Chilean compatriots and our former GK along with his competitor.
