His passing is crazy sometimes. He hits a long ball and you think he missed, but he get it in somehow. That long pass to Neymar was crazy.

He had a good game, but I think we shouldn't get carried away with saying he had a great game - simply because I believe the saves he made yesterday are those which we would expect him to make. What I mean is - if he let's those go, there would be criticism of him. So yes, he's back to at least saving the shots he should be saving, but to be honest I want to wait till the end of the season to judge whether he can be our starting keeper.

We need this kind of game to be his standard level (like De Gea, Neur, etc. all do), with him occasionally pulling a Alves or Varas type game where he makes some unbelievable saves and nothing can physically get past him. Sure, he can have an off-game or two like every human would, but I would like to see a lot more this season before we get very happy or very upset, either way.

well to put it quit frankly: you should watch the game AGAIN. caus you missed an game changing wc-save in the first minutes after the pique fuck up. (Garcias shot which ter stegen put with his finger tips to the post).
so you nullified your post, which is only acurate to earlier ter stegen games, where he indeed just saved what has to be saved

Give me some examples of him not making saves he should make. How can he get "back to" making these saves when he was already making the obvious saves?

Wasn't it just a month back when he came in for severe criticism for hardly making any saves? (aside from the freezing, which is another issue altogether). He has been much better of late and hasn't made any mistakes for a few games now, but I am talking about a longer tenure; consistency is one of the main qualities you would look for in a keeper and that's why Bravo was so good here; not necessarily because of his exceptional skills but that he was pretty consistent and reliable; he performed at a very good level for most of the season. So we need to see if MATS can do that, before we declare him a success or failure, because even last year in the CL and copa, he was quite up and down.

You said he wasn't making saves he shouldn't and I asked you to name some that he should have saved that went in. You have failed to answer my question, but then, that's what I expected. Your BS comment about him being "back to making saves he should" doesn't hold any validity if you can't actually name any shots he conceded that he should have saved. In fact, I'm struggling to remember even a single goal where the problem was "Mats should have definitely saved it".

And no, the saves he's been making over the past few weeks are not the type he should be expected to save. Just in the first few minutes against Athletic he made a crucial fingertip save after the defense gave the ball away right in front of his goal.

And since you're talking about Bravo, I should probably remind you Mr. Reliable took a drastic dip in form in 2016 with us that has spiraled into him being the worst keeper in the BPL.
