expected more at the goal conceided since it was shot right above his head but he made a big time save on that 1v1 vs cavanni , that was crucial , not to mention that tackle

Even when the game seemed lost he was there to protect us and there's no way we'd have won if not for his tackle in the closing moments. Mats career here has been so pleasing to watch. From everyone shitting on him for not being Bravo, to fearing what would happen to us if he got to be our #1, to him being the constant scapegoat, to him being such a vital player to our success... Brings a tear to my eye.

He even managed to contribute when he pushed up to attack. Not many goalkeepers can say that.

In that one incident in which he got to the ball before Veratti, take him out and replace him with any GK not named Neuer, they score and we lose. Simple as that.

Absolutely agreed... There was no logical way he could have saved that to be honest, but he looked beaten from the moment the ball left Cavani's foot which is a little bit disappointing...

But, that one-on-one save was absolutely vital to the comeback so once again he did his part to help us come on top... On top of that it was a ridiculously difficult save to make and he delivered...

Barcelona's 95th min goal came from a free-kick given after a foul on goalkeeper Marc-André Ter Stegen on the opposition half. History.
