Anti-everything
Stuff like this is why Bayern are the single greatest cunts out of all the 'top' clubs, including RM.

Glad they have been getting served nothing but humble pie in the CL last 5-6 years.

There's a reason why almost all of Germany hates them, and its not just because of their success.

not at all, I thought Marc was not even nominated for the international games coming.... at least he was not for the north-ireland match.. but hey, Germany is good enough keeper-wise - so who cares, and our keeper can concentrate on barca that way...

I didn't even know that, the conflict just keeps snowballing then.

Lol that surely can't be a real quote? Most idiotic thing I've read lol.

Thats Hoeneß for you. Saying stupid stuff just to then kinda apologize ("shouldn't have said it like that" etc) is his thing pretty much since his return. He insults other players (Özil, Bellarabi) without any hesitation, even goes as far as throwing his own ex-players under the bus (Bernat) but throws a tantrum as soon as someone dares to criticize a Bayern player. Last year they even held a whole press conference whining about media

Hoeneß seems to have lost touch with reality years ago, he thinks he can just get away with saying whatever he wants but that doesn't work anymore. I know a lot of Bayern fans and most of them are glad he'll be gone (well let's see...) soon, mostly because of stuff like this.

I am sure it's mainly his "special" personality for 80%, in combination with a tad of german "straight talking" culture 10%. But furthermore maybe it might be strategy .... he thinks he shows strength to his clubmembers, maybe even leadership with these lunatic acts.

...for sure he knows how to attract media attention and play with it... and create polarity among fans... "US against THEM".

(Kovac also backs up Neuer https://video.tagesspiegel.de/6086795517001?lightbox=1&autoplay=1)

from their perspective they are right: why starting a discussion, if Nr.1 plays fine. Neuer has not blundered (so they say, IDK), so end of story. I have to give them that...
But, why bayern is so keen risking Neuer gets insured in a national game is beyond me...does int. games raise Neuers value $-wise? Probably...
