When u watch the CL and the keepers for all the teams left from quarter final and even before, u realise that barca has no chance of winning a CL with this guy with us, yet we presist on playing him, he just can't be fixed.

100% he would have bottled(whole barca team too)this somehow like the last five years in CL. First of all, he would never save Werner's try. It was a great save.
I just don't believe him anymore in big CL games. Same with Alba. They perform always terrible.
Think he would save that Werner terrible shot. He has great reflex.
Stegen would probably have saved it as he would of been frozen in the middle of the goal and the ball would have hit him.
He is a very good goalkeeper, just that as time has gone by he has drifted to that 5-10 goalkeeping spot. Atleast subjectively in my eyes. He can have runs of excellent form, but generally he has not improved in his deficit areas compared to other goalkeepers, meanwhile his distribution is not as good as he seems to think it is. Perhaps this last point could be down to our general staticness.
Still, no market opportunity that makes it worth selling him and signing someone else. Not unless you want to get in bed with Raoila and have the instability of contract renewals every other season. Not to mention a huge signing fee and sign on fee.

Yeah the last months I have noticed him being very poor sometimes with his longer passes. He is still one of the few top keepers able to perfectly recycle possession correctly when there are shorter options available.
I think Barcelona should be content with a 5-10 goalkeeper and not be on the hunt for the current no 1, as this position should also be a lot different for Barcelona than for other teams. Valdes was never top 20 I'd say, but he was the perfect keeper for Barcelona for a while.
I think the thought of replacing Stegen with Donnarumma is ridiculous, even in another world where it would be economically good.

Wtf he has only this on fucking move cant close the angle, just spread your self and hope the ball het you. At this point we cant go worse with any other keeper we get.
