Navas is better than Szczesny.
Navas is 37, short and a different style keeper altogether. Beast in his prime but relied heavily on his athleticism. Also barely played in the last few years.

Szczesny is 34, was a Juve starter until last month and overall a solid option.

Doubt we can convince him to come back but would certainly be ahead of Navas these days.

Well to be fair none of those two is a good solution but we need to do something. We can't rely on Pena for the rest of the season.

Would rather have Szczesny than Navas. Lewy can give him a call. Would be a huge improvement over Pena

Ur not weird for that, ur just an idiot. No offense
I’d call it paranoia rather than idiocy, I’d call your comment quick judgement of someone’s character over a harmless forum comment, calm down buddy and don’t do Psychology, not your thing:lol:

If Szczesny is willing to return for 9 months then it's a no-brainer considering the options that are available in-house and as free agents.
That said, now they need to plan to sign an actual starter next summer.

No thanks. Relied on his athleticism which might be gone, is older than Lewa. We're not a retirement home...

Not very smart to compare the age of a keeper with the one of a field player.

37 is a fine age for a keeper, not for a field player, ofc.

Navas should only serve as a temporary solution until the club makes money for better younger keepers.

What are the UEFA or La Liga rules here? Do we have to sign someone as we only have one GK in the squad currently?
