The big mistake is the contract we offered him.

We basically destroyed the kid, telling him no matter what you will do you'll end up a multi-millionaire.

Well there's definitely a post world cup hangover for most teams this weekend.

Let's see how Fati and the whole team does against Atletico. Oh and of course Inter Milan de Manchester City before that on Wednesday.

Fati has PTSD from his injuries. On top of that he was NEVER that good. He had amazing accuracy with finishing which could always proven to be random and it did. We must get over it fast. We have loaned or sold better talents than him in the past.

True. Big fuck-up by the club and Laporta. Gave this guy a big salary based on some goals here and there in La Liga.

Let's not forget that this season is still about staying injury and not suffering any relapses for Fati.

Also before the world cup break he was looking pretty good. The WC call up and subsequent performances seem to have set him bsck- for whatever reason.

Imo, Ansu's skillset is most suited in a 3-5-2 as part of a front 2 with a real #9 or even a 3-4-3 with a 9 ahead of him.

He would have been a great weapon for Koeman back in the 20/21 season when we played a 3-4-1-2

Let's give him a full season of recovery before completely writing him off, he'd missed a good 2 years of football.

Let him prove himself being back from injury before give him almost 6 year contract on 200K a week.

To be fair ro Fati.. he is another player Xavi is playing in way that doesnt suit him.

Was never a touchline winger and half the time he got the ball on Saturday he was 50 yds from goal out wide and a lot of time with back to a defender.

He needs quick link up play to score and that's pretty much non-existent now. Team doesn't penetrate or progress together, I'm confident his injuries aren't anywhere near the main reason for his recent lack of goal scoring. He's visibly demoralized on the pitch and I don't blame him one bit, I predicted this exact thing happening last year if Xavi didn't get fired.

He should be a backup for Lewandowski. Playing him as a winger is a waste of time. Play him alongside for the last 15 mins and let him build confidence slowly. Elite players like Thierry Henry and David Villa can go from a striker to a wide winger. Not fucking Ansu. Xavi needs to understand that.

So far not one single winger has been successful hugging the touchline and scoring goals. Undr Xavi. It is self explanatory that if 2/3s of our goal scorers are not in front of goal, it is difficult to score.

Not one single winger.

I am reading some speculations in some papers that Barca is willing to sell Fati for 70m to balance their books.

Can you imagine anyone paying for more than 15m for this version of Fati (plus his enormous wages)?
