Torres it horse shit, this is well documented.
When you're coming for someone at least get there options right.
Raphinha it would just be good business, if you don't think scoring all the game winning goals he did last season was important, then....

Oh they were important, but a season is 3/4 of a year or so long, a few goals doesn't make up for being invisible 99% of the season. You use this as an argument as to why Xavi did well in the market or why Raphinha was important, but it's a poor one.
If we had players who were not invisible 99% of the season, we wouldn't need last ditch desperate goals to get by eh? You move the goalposts to justify different views in an attempt to not be wrong.
Xavi has awful tactics and the only players, ironically, that have done well so far are the ones he didn't even request. Lewa had a good first half of the season, but even then he's a shadow of the player he was even a season prior.
We won the league DESPITE his horrible tactics or lack thereof. We won the league DESPITE his poor squad planning and transfer targets. We didn't win because of them.

Selling Ferran and Raphinia at some point doesn't mean they were bad choices at the moment.
Barca couldn't bring the best of the best but managed to win la liga. the logical thing to do in the future is to outgrow those players and build on the success.
As for fati, we can see where he stands in the end of his loan and decide if he is up to it. This was a great move, in a top league and an exciting club.

His problems are more mental than physical. He is completely different to what he was pre-injuries when he was fearless. Now he plays like he is scared to get injured again.
He plays wide on the periphery of the game, hoping to get pot shots in from range or make a yard for a shot. He's not prepared to get down and dirty and certainly doesn't want to engage physically. He seems content with that, when before he was aiming for much higher levels.
His mentality went from lion to antelope. He's not a killer. Now Mr. Roque? That's a killer. People who look at Roque's highlights and question what is so great about him are the same as someone looking at a skinny 5 foot 4 inch guy and thinking he is no threat, not knowing he has a motherfuckin' 9mm in his back pocket.

I think the mental aspect is a consequence of the physical that he no longer possesses in terms of burst or ability to dribble out of pressure. In open space, still a dangerous player who is affected by the mental but when he is marked on the flanks he used to effortlessly glide past defenders. And frankly, we have yet to see the physical version of Ansu pre-meniscus injury who did not really use his physicality but his athletic skills to dribble his opponent or race past them - post injury I have yet to see him do that & I don't believe the mental is the root cause, just another layer of recovery he has to go through
The knee, we knew then, would alter his career trajectory as meniscus injuries can - he could be 100% mentally back but he won't have that physical edge he once had. It's the reason why I have felt he has to adapt to a new position - he's not a CF or winger any longer and isn't skilled enough as a #10. But longterm I think the SS is the only position he will be viable in

Ansu was never like Dembele gliding past defenders. He had some foot skills, which he still does, that can unmark him or give him angle for a shot from the left half-space. That's about it.
All this talk that he is physically depleted now after the injury is totally unfounded.
On the contrary, his block is 100% mental.
We see situations were pre-injury Ansu would have judged correctly and made the correct decision, and now he simply doesn't, He is too much afraid as Don Juan says
More evidence that it is completely mental, is his short spell in 21/22 under Koeman and interim coach, where he was like old Ansu whenever he played, scoring wondergoals (Celta) and another 3-4 in the few minutes he played in all coms.
