???? 11 on 10 so what? We had the CB'S in the box aswell...AND THE GOALKEEPER!
And secondly it's funny how you named 3 subs in the 'next generation players' (our present squd) also MVB is not as good as iniesta, motta not as good as Toure, sylvi not as good as Alves, Gio probably the same as Abidal maybe
The squads were no way even also you named two Lb's in your players form the previous squad...Also to further highlight the differences in squads our D back up now is Maxwell and maybe even Puyol back then it was the Ogg!!!
No I'm just pointing out that the point you made about the CL is void, because you said Arsenal put 11 men behind the ball, which isn't true cause they didn't have more than 10 in the first place, and also Messi was given a much more difficult situation to shine since Barca were down to 10.
Well, coincidentally i didn't name Iniesta because Iniesta was in the squad under Ronnie too, and Sylvi I named for Maxwell, which is a fair comparison, Motta you can just look at at Genoa, everyone knows that Motta was extremely talented, and even now he's a great player, he was just injured too often and therefore he left (Barca weren't patient enough - with right). Motta is as good as Keita imo, and could have been as good as Yaya.
The Barca squad of today is marginally better, but that's why I shifted to individual statistics (not even trophy hauls, since that's squad dependent) and the answer there is clear cut. And if we could also look at tackles made and balls won back, Messi would be sky-high compared to Dinho. Ronaldinho was a free-kick and passing specialist, a great dribbler before he lost his speed. Messi is a dribbling and scoring specialist, with great passing and back-tracking tackler, and a good free-kick taker. They also score around the same no. of headers. So for me Leo is better.
