4 to 5 men on him...always the same tactic. He loses one..he does a 1 two ..mostly he doesnt get the ball back or messi loses it... nobody else to play with...pathetic messidependencia

One of his worst performances this season :/ walked around most part of the game, didnt run offball, and yelled at Tello when he didnt pass him, when Messi had no chance to score anyways.

Yet, he had to go way to far back in the field to pick up the ball and became more of a playmaker then striker becouse there were no Iniesta, which really hurt our gameplay. Even Bosquetes and Pique were more part of the attack then Keita.

what people need to realize is that messi is always double marked (or sometimes has 4 swarming around him) if the other forwards aren't doing their job properly he can't do his job properly. the others need to exploit the space that is created by him being marked so heavily but for this game i blame pep. it was basically alexis and messi operating in the same area vs 9 man defense

Actually he was given alot of space today and could easily turn up, but there were no off the ball movement from other players so he had noone to pass, and Messi cant dribble past 8 Milan players. But he looked tired today, even with the ball he had no real pace, and the passes he did make were often to short so defenders could just pick it up. He was a bit cranky and frustrated today aswell.

Exactly gingy. Plus the bad pitch condition. He losing the balance while taking a free kick just shows how shit the pitch was.

Ok did not play up to the usual standard but the problem is deeper. All the players are pretty much expecting Leo to take the ball (or it is given) and score (or create a goal), this is obvious on some occasions. The problem is that if no one else is getting dangerous it is easy to defend.

in replay you can see he was at first pole

He was still our most dangerous player again today. He had hardly no one to link up with. Himself and Sanchez were the only 2 people getting forward at times.

The players looked tired and cranky because they were playing in a swamp. See Messi slipping or Alves kicking the turf. It's fecking annoying trying to run on a surface that you fear (rightly) will have you slipping around like Bambi. So you run slower and look lethargic.

Not to mention even the likes of Xavi having to take extra touches because of all the bobbling.

He played very well. As always. He just got pissed off after a certain amount of time because of the pitch and because nobody supported him in attack. Our left side was completely disabled with a centre back and central midfielder playing there. Our whole attack was Sanchez-Messi with Xavi delivering some creativity behind and 8 others players doing nothing special. Alves too got frustrated because of the pitch.
