I couldn't disagree more. On the biggest stages he has laid sublime pass after sublime pass. Maybe if on those occasions, he never supplied anything and gave the ball up with wild passes like Cesc, then I would agree. That's hardly ever the case though. He most always delivers the sickest passes and very often when in a scoring opportunity.

If anyone's passing is underrated, it's Cristina's. On this board, we love to clown on his clumsy dispossession and pointless step overs because it's fun, but fact is his passing competion is in the B range.

Not really that bad as we make it seem tbh.

Disclaimer: CR is still a classless prick and I hate him.

Umm..."underrated" means "not rated highly enough." :)

I know what it means, I used the first paragraph to show that during the biggest stage (the stage that everyone watches) his passing is excellent. Non-Cules who do not watch our matches week in week out would know that his passing is excellent based on that fact. If his passing was atrocious in the biggest stage, then most people (non-Cules) would "underrate" his passing because that's all they'd see, but that's not the case. Get it?

So you are saying it is properly rated at world class?

I think so too, I do not think his passing goes unnoticed. But I understand what your fellow cule, BerkeleyBennie, meant to say, usually everyone harps about his dribbling and goal scoring and rarely mention his passing.

On this forum 90% of the people appreciate a good pass/assist, same cant be said for most of the internet tho. Its understandable tho... given that its full of bandwagoners/glory hunters.

Thats why I discuss football only here.

Well to be honest if there is anything that I'd wish our players become better at is their first touch. Messi's first touch is ridiculous, so is Iniesta's. Pedro had a very good first touch, I mean he didn't exactly always kill the ball but he has always been able to lay off the ball in front of him for proper scoring opportunity. Nevermind what he has become recently, he will get gain his confidence back.

If your players stopped practicing falling over at training maybe they would have time to improve their first touch ;)

Why is it that reports say that Leo has scored 68 goals this season (incl. national team) ?

I though friendly matches didn't count? : s

I don't get it. What are you showing me.

Anyway thank you all for going way off topic. Point being is that the thing I admire about your entire team is how good your first touch is. Ronaldo's first touch is even more, unless he is poking it into the net. Benzema's touch sometimes is spectacular and so is higuain's but not out of this world. I wish they'd practice some small technical things, ecause against Sporting, I saw some misplaced passes and a lot of hesitation in passing the ball in narrow areas.
