I'm not 100 % certain but as far as I know you can't really "train" your first touch anymore after a certain age. If this was the case, every player playing for a top club would run around with the close control of Iniesta. They'd just train very hard for a year or two. That's not how it works though. :iniesta:

Nope, I said how what is actually underrated is Messi's first touch and then I said that this is one thing I envy, something Real Madrid players should improve.

Yup. He has carried the team on his shoulder. Crazy what this guy can do and you can tell he was very frustrated when he scored against Levante. See, I do not know where I got this impression that people on here have complained about his 'walking' through matches but I don't care to dig quotes, all I want to say is that from what I see Messi 'walks' just as much as he always did. The problem is the people around him, no one moves anymore. They seem like they are doing something but they are not. Which is perhaps what exposes Messi or makes him bear that much more load.
