It was a penalty though and the ref completely bottled it,

nothing new in SA though, where the decisions go by the wind direction.

never a penalty, he deliberatly leaves he's foot in there , and there's barely any contact

I'm not sure how much contact was made, but I think it's safe to say he could've easily stayed on his feet. It's nothing compared to the physical trauma Messi endures time in and time out.

I agree, but on the other hand, when goalie reaches intentionally and hits your ankle when the ball is long gone, it's a foul. And a penalty.
