Messi + Higuain link up quite well

too bad it will never happen in club level

I think even Kun links up well with Leo but it is Leo after all...If Di Maria can get his brain in order, Los Albicelestes could/would steamroll...everyone

Although he's still having to carry the majority of their creative burden, Messi is now getting it on target on a more consistent basis for the Arg, which is great to see. I hope he keeps this form.

These guys wont even make the bench of us or RM.

I understand the lot of you despise HBA and the overestimation of his players. But the above is not an objective assessment. The aforementioned players will def make our bench and even RMs. Cabaye is class, and could easily walk in to the midfields of atleast 6 top clubs.

Di Maria is many things and many of them not good but he is not selfish, he provides for his team quite a lot actually.

Until last year he was being very selfish when playing for Argentina..but to be fair with him the other argies were behaving in the same way too.

Sabella on Messi :D:

In an earlier interview you described Lionel Messi as: “The best player in the world, a player who can change a game quicker than anyone”. You saw that for yourself when you were at Estudiantes, in the final of the FIFA Club World Cup UAE 2009.
That’s right. After that final against Barcelona I remember sitting on the beach with my assistants doing some pre-season preparations. A young lad ran by and shouted: “Are you still looking for Messi?” I was really angry at first, but then I just laughed because it was such a good line. Messi made us suffer that day, no question, and he settled the game in style.

He was the least selfish player for Argentina and Messi's best friend on the pitch behind Higuain, until the fiasco in the Copa from everyone. Stop posting false accusation about all Madrid players.

So all the others who play for Argentina, including Messi are also playing for Real Madrid or how is that? I just expressed my opinion about Di Maria..so shoot me.

Leo really took control of the game and was the driving force of Argentina.

He occasionally towards the end of our season looked a bit static and deep and was obviously conserving energy, whereas it seemed clear the other night, he is required to play a much more pro active role and it is looking as though he is playing better for Argentina now in the last 3 or 4 games as he ever has.

Also puts to bed the stupid suggestions that Leo has lost his willingness or ability to drive Barca on as much as years past.

Leo is the best and plays to whatever role is needed.

For Barca last season he was always required so I think he was ordered not to work as hard and save himself for getting goals, while the rest of the team create. Whereas for Argentina he is probably told to go all out more and drive the team on.
