i agree with him in the first part about no off-ball movement and just waiting to get the ball but it's not 'cos he is in a decline but because he is pretty lazy lately.

does +21 stand for assists? if so, you are wrong. Messi has only 16 assists in 2012 : )

Different criteria for assists, then. These numbers are according to FIFA World Cup 1990 criteria. And, as jiopi often says, wider criteria gives better view on involvement on goals.

I browsed a bit through that forum and they think that Messi is the one that forces Barcelona to be Messi dependent because he's selfish. I hope they keep thinking that and Madrid focus completely on Messi in the Clasico which allows Villa to score a hat trick.

I don't think he is lazy. Messi isn't a running machine! He isn't so strong physically, and he has to save his eneregy for many matches.

I've been seeing all his matches for a long time. I know, he is strong, but he isn't a running machine like Alves. He isn't so just from the last season. Since Guardiola he hasnT been running so much. He has to play 60-70 matches. Beleive me, he couldn't play so much, if he would run 12 kilometres in a match.
