Sky Sport's stats had him at 95% passes completed. People keep saying he underpreformed etc last night but i thought he had a great game, a different game to his usual but great nonetheless. Messi you inspire the world, keep it up and leave your mark on the game forever!

Perhaps Messi is suffering from the same treatment that happens to most great players...when they simply have a "very good" game instead of an outstanding game, people are disappointed. I thought he played well. That goal was actually a brilliant header.
I read an interview after the game, where Pep said the main reason to play Messi in the middle is to help the midfield with possession. Iniesta & Xavi could pass it laterally, back to the defence, out to the wings, or up to Messi. In this role, Messi did perfectly.
Messi, Xavi & Iniesta...the best players in the world!!!

I loved that so much - all the Barca fans went mad where I was, no matter how few there were, while the United fans were just staring in disbelief.
