They're getting plenty of respect. The three of them were all finalists for Fifa Balon D'or and top 4 of this award. The thing is, it's just bad timing for them. They're playing their best futbol alongside maybe the greatest player ever. Says more about Messi really, imo

It was typical to see that when Xavi said that Messi is the best player in the world, Messi humbly looked at his feet. When someone (I believe it was the guy presenting) said these were the best players, Ronaldo started to gloat by throwing his nose in the air and starting to smile.
