I was also a bit pissed when Pedro made that fine run down the right flank, and Messi hesitated to run into the box. Then, when Pedro decided not to cross it but to shoot, Messi was really angry at Pedro, but I was like "No Leo, YOU didn´t start running early enough".

I don´t want to critize our little genius too much, but it´s stuff like that that make me think he´s slowly becoming a bit lazy or just bored with the game.

he cant' expect everyone to pass him the ball all the time.

Pedro was right to shoot. Leo wasn't in the box early enough.

Great golazo though.

Well he was playing quite deep and being more in involved in midfield play with us being a man down, that could have something to do with it.

Dude, seriously?

Remember back in 2010 when everyone thought Sneijder should win the Ballon d'Or? He won the treble with Inter, and made it to the final in South Africa ! if that moster season/year didn't get him the Ballon d'Or, why should Ronaldo get it this year? he "only" won La Liga and the Supercup!

The Ballon d'Or is given to the best player in that year. Messi won Copa del Rey, Pichichi and the golden boot. and he also scored 73 for Barca and 82 counting NT! AND! he was the player who gave most assists!

Here is the stats for the calendar year 2012!

Messi: 42 games, 58 goals and 15 assists, a total of 73 goals he was directly involved in - Copa del Rey, Pichichi and The Golden Boot

Ronaldo: 45 games, 41 goals and 8 assists, a total of 49 goals he was directly involved in - La Liga and the Spanish Supercup


Ronaldo only won La Liga because he had Benzema and Higuain, helping the team scoring goals when he couldn't.

And the Supercup = Valdés (1 leg and 2 leg) Mascherano (2 leg) just sayin'

The look on Cristina's face when Messi gets best UEFA player award and the Ballon d'Or, would make up for any Supercopa loss.
