Seems like it's an official account. Yeah and it takes time to get your account verified. Some players' also have accounts (and they're legit) but not verified.

I find this whole campaign to damage Messi's image fairly bizarre. If you're a football fan - and even if you're not - then surely you should be desperate to appreciate a fantastic talent. Messi always strikes me as a great professional, but even he will have a breaking point - speculation and gossip like we've seen this summer will surely be detrimental to his on-field performances in the long-term, surely?
