After checking out Bican a bit more, maybe you should leave him out, the goals you have listed are only for the league, on top of those he also scored 30 goals in the czech cup during those 5 seasons and some ~50 ish goals in the central cup (Bohemia and Moravia) so some 80 ish goals are missing, he would most likely top even Messi for 1-5 seasons if they were included.

Just imagine that lob would have gone in from yesterdays match against Levante. Was quite similar to this one i think !!!

In reality those stats mean as much as me scoring 9 goals against a low level local club. The only old player who has epic stats at the highest level is Gerd Müller, the rest played in joke leagues.
All the highest goalscorers always come from Brazils joke regional leagues, or pre ww2 central/eastern Europe. Nobody considers Jimmy Mcgrory better than Van Basten or even Drogba/Henry.

I like stats and think Messi will most likely beat all of them but in reality they mean fuck all.
Messi is a better goalscorer than anyone but Gerd Muller at the moment imo, yet best player ever cause he combines goal records with creativity where most legends can only excel at one aspect.
Comparing Bican's, Pele's stats to Messi is like saying an Estonian player is better than Rvp cause he scored more.
Once leagues change in the future and we will have a cl type league where a player excels then that player would be put statistically ahead of Messi cause of la liga's relative weakness.

Gerardo Martino told the media that Messi’s substitution was part of a new understanding that he needs rest when the victory is in the bag. But video captured by Sky Sports from yesterday evening shows Messi quite clearly heaving, possibly vomiting moments after returning to the pitch following half-time. El Mundo Deportivo believes Messi was suffering from flu which was exacerbated by the high August temperature. The substitution may still have been preplanned and perhaps Leo hid his feelings. It’s not the first or even the second time the great one has vomited during a game and continued to play. But really, why would Messi even come back on with the team being 6-0 up and clearly not feeling well?

Messi: "Best welcome? India was crazy. I arrived late at night and there were thousands of fans wearing Messi jerseys. It was so humbling."
