He needed to rest over the summer not fly about playing charity games and getting drunk with Ronaldo.

He was on holidays, he rested. In muscular issues that´s not the point. That´s the opposite: trainin a bit every day is good to maintain the muscles fit.

I agree he needs a rest. Let him come on in the second half, If need be. He doesn't need score 100 goals a season anymore

You know what lets just give him the full recovery this time. No playing games untill he gets the green light, and once he is back he should slowly start to build up by coming 65th minute etc.

We should be extremely careful withhim at this point

I agree. And 90 percent of our liga games can be won without him tbh especially the home games.

Haha, no.

There is no need to play him in pointless games though (like Benfica last season or a few liga games when he was basically injured), i just want to see the injuryfree Messi back, if he has to be out 1/2 months for it then so be it, just make it happen.

Umm, I agree. This wasn't pointless game though.

I always think we got a great medical team at Barca. But at the moment im really confused about the series of injuries Messi has. Its not the is some player we can easly change hes our top player. So my question is why dont they talk clear about this ? Or are going for some really good doctor like Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt from ther Germany national team / FC Bayern hes known as the best.

From what i've read Messi muscles are quite similar to those that sprinters have (Fast twitch muscle), which is where his explosiveness/acceleration comes from but also means he is more prone to injury(like hamstring problems etc) then the average player. He has been lucky to avoid injury the last season lets he can again do so in the future.
