Official: Further tests today have confirmed that Messi has a thigh muscle injury and that he will be out for two to three weeks #fcblive

Could be good though in he long run, now he doesn't have to travel to Argentina and can get a good 3 weeks rest instead. He will probably be back to El Classico on the 26 or 27th, maybe he can play the last 30 against Milan on San Siro to get some match rythm back after the break.

A week, one game. Vs Malaga. Before that played two games and before that, two games off (1.5 weeks, Malaysia XI, Italy).

Hopefully this will be the last time it happens. Sure he needs some rest, but not those frequent injuries...

Now while he's unavailable other players (Neymar, Cesc...) have to step up to fill the void as much as they can

And then was said Ronaldo and Bale would be a lethal couple.

as flavia mentioned I think it has sth to do with his diet. its really very worrying, can't be happy even if its just a couple of games that he's gonna miss.
