I am conflicted: On one hand I don't want to rush him back, he really needs to heal and recovery completely; on the other hand I am hoping he would be back in time for the AC Milan away game as I think we need him to win the game. But then again, an out of form Messi will probably not help the team or himself.

Judging by previous experience in the Champions League, we won't win away to Milan. We've failed to that with Messi in the team, this includes against the likes of Milan, Inter, Lyon, Chelsea, Liverpool and more. Counter-intuitively, a Barca without Messi might even get a better result, since a Spain style Barca might be better suited to grafting out a result.

The whole team is in a celebrative mood after making a new record.

I love this team.

I trust in Neymar. Neymar will compensate for Messi. We'll have to rely on his brilliance.

Ever since that PSG game Messi's health hasn't been the same. Unfortunately, this seems like a recurring issue now. The dark ages are coming. :(

Neymar is certainly a good alternate. Not a 1:1 replacement for Messi and of course I prefer both on the field at the same time.

At least there's an international break coming up so he won't miss too many games. No Jetlag from long flights either hopefully he'll be raring to go against Milan.

Official: Further tests today have confirmed that Messi has a thigh muscle injury and that he will be out for two to three weeks #fcblive
So it's Celtic away and Valladolid home... If we are to win stuff this seson, our team should be able to deal with these hurdles comfortably even without the help of Messiah. Hope they will live up to the occasion

Not really worried tbh. Celtic will be tricky, but it would be with Messi too. Valladolid at home shouldn't be too hard anyway.
