Now they say that the 12 goals scored for Argentina this year don't matter since they weren't at a World Cup or Copa America .
If they keep saying all this stuff even though Messi broke some ridiculous records , they will probably say in the future too despite Messi beeing Messi .

You never get tired of winning and he's the main reason Barcelona have won so many games lately, so it's more of a thankfulness to have him healthy and helping us win more than it is a boredom or normalcy of seeing him score so regularly.
It's like we're all living in a cloud trying not to wake up from this dream. We just don't want it to end so we behave like this surreal supremacy is normal. That might be the connection.

Thats what I mean, from the outside Messi is just something we have never ever seen, never has there been a player this effective in creating + scoring in football. So maybe for the people who always watches him forget how special he ios compared to us from the outside

Messi is changing the norm, 25 goals is the main target for any quality striker, atleast it used to be.
Cause of Messi being a beast others are expected to score that much as well.
Yesterday on another forum people were ripping Falcao for being unable to score against Celta, calling him garbage cause he dont even score every game..
Then fanboys showed up saying he isnt a goalmachine like Messi but atleast more creative and sets up more...
I guess French guys dont ever watch la liga or get football cause t was all totally ridiculous.

This will be maintained ad infinitum as one of those arguments aimed at undermining Leo. It is utter rubbish along with all those former argumentssuch as he cannot head the ball, that he is a drug cheat etc etc.
As for his goals at the World Cup he will if Argentina make it to the final likely play six and a bit games. Sabella would probably rest him for part of the third group game. He can do it. The attack is very dangerous the midfield is improving as is the defence.
People say the defence is the Achilles heel but Holland albeit with some fortune ie Brazil imploding, Uruguay suspensions made it to the final with a pretty poor slow defence. Heitinga for example. Sabella is no mug. Had the woodwork not intervened , a couple of poor choices from Messi in not passing to team mates and some poor finishing from team mates he would have more than 12 goals this year for Argentina and more assists.
He simply is a phenomenon. World Cup winning sides generally have an exceptional player. Hopefully Leo is that ingredient this time. 21 years is a very long time without a major trophy.

I think you will find that Evra is extremely thick. His best pal Tevez is also of the same ilk. To be fair to Ferguson he has been very effusive in his praise of Lionel. He probably wishes more of his youngsters were as grounded as him.
