As much as this heat map is impressive it also points to Lucho's shortcomings as a manager. And despite of that he manages to score fuck load of goals and who knows how many woodworks. Sheer brilliance.
Imagine how much better Messi would be in terms of stats if we had a more competent coach...

He isn't a player that particularly relies on coaches. You pick him, tell him to roam wherever he wants and sit back and watch the goals fly in.

Some people will use anything to try and beat the coach over the head. What happened to giving them time to put their stamp on the side? Wasn't all rosy for Guardiola when he first took over, look how that turned out. You can't sack a manager every couple of months, especially when he has lost three games in total. Some of you are so spoiled you've lost touch with reality.

I'm not saying we should sack him, but so far lucho looks to be the worst manager post-pep, I don't think we should sack him but surely we could have hired someone better, if he proves me wrong I will be very happy, I'm on the side of Barca

If Leo would be as obsessed with stats as some people in here are, he would be another Cristiano on the pitch with all the antics and stuff.

I love to see him score and break records too but how he plays at the moment is almost perfect. I would not want to trade that for a pure scorer.

Leo keeps the ball always near his feet, his ball cotroll is so outstanding:worthy:. The only one who comes near to ballcontroll to him is robben.

Nah, Iniesta is still the one closest. If he get his form back, his ballcontroll is on par with Messi. He just isnt as fast, nor does he have the balance or finishing. But in close spaces there is no one better than Iniesta, only Messi is on the the same level.

Worst coach post-pep? Clearly, when Barcelona is so far behind real madrid that the gap is an entire 2 points, a real madrid team that has won 20 games in a row.

You are giving Enrique too much credit.

But yeah, he is not the worst since Pep left, Jordi Roura was. ;)

Too much credit? I dont understand the parameters used to assess whether or not a particular result was because of Lucho's work. The "Individual Brilliance" line doesnt hold much water since Pep would never have reached either CL final without the individual brilliance of Messi and Iniesta, the other two times we went out in the semis we didnt have individual wonder goals from either of the two and we went out. Does that mean that neither trophy won should be credited as having been brought about by Pep? And to this day he has yet to reach past the semi finals of the CL without a stroke of individual brilliance. Does that mean the Pep Guardiola isnt good enough to win the CL and just gets carried by the quality of his players?

Whether individual brilliance got us those trophies when Pep was here or not, we played much better, goals/wins/trophies aside. We are not playing that great at all today.

He's hit his old form again, now I just hope he is relentless until May as we need him more than ever to paper over the cracks in this team.
