I think he just took an early vacation of sorts. After all it was a homegame against CORDOBA, I mean they won 5-0 running at 10%, Messi scored twice

Now go home to Antonella and Thiago and have a great Christmas Messi! :)

He's playing in such a slow, mediocre team and has to come deep all the time to make things happen, or stuck on the right.

He'll struggle to get the Ballon D'or off Ronaldo next year playing in such an average team and for crap coaches likes Lucho and Tata with his national side. He deserves more. Transfer ban next year will make it worse.

Ronaldo has got a world class coach and a top class attacking team to provide for him.

Cat Radio reported prior to the match that Messi has a cold and was on painkillers

He lacked a lot of energy throughout the match and got dispossessed a lot. That explains a lot. Thanks for the info.

Hopefully he doens't play like Ronaldo anymore. We need him to create opportunities. Thank god it was v. Cordoba.

Or he took paracetamol or aspirin or something which docs give or tell you to take if you've caught a cold........which...........are........painkillers.
