Reminds me of a Comment I read on Rawk a couple of days ago.

i watched the barca game today. what an absolute cop out it is for a physical player like suarez who constantly fights for every ball to go and have an easy time in spain. said this and got bollocked for it in the summer. that defence from rayo was nothing short of embarrassing today in the second half. its a shite league and top players like suarez and ronaldo taking the easy route and having a nice time in spain is cowardly if you ask me.

Problem is people only watch Barcelona and Real batter low league teams and conclude la liga teams suck, yet they watch all kinds of epl games like Everton vs stoke, nobody gives a fuck about Malaga vs Getafe.
Barca and Real would kill teams like hull city in similair fashion, does that mean the lower half of la liga is worse than in the epl? the top half is definitely stronger. Atletico would compete for the title and Valencia be top 2 as well.

Also epl teams have way more money, fish in la liga talent pool get all the best players of those teams, still suck and then rip on those teams for losing against Barca/Real with a wide scoreline...

I wasn't basing that on physical decline, but I think Leo will need re-motivation.

I might be wrong, but at 31-32 I think he'll be the kinda guy who'll want a change of scenery.

If he wants a change of scenery he'll go to another top club, not a retirement league.

You think Villarreal would get schooled by Besiktas? They would also not lose 0-2 against Monaco at home for sure.
They would compete for a cl spot in the epl, only Chelsea and City would beat them h2h for sure, same with the others beside Atletico,Real and us.

I always stick up for La Liga but there is no way Villareal are as good as Arsenal and Liverpool.
