2011/12 and 2012/13 stats show how much we depended on messi, when he got injured and his form dropped it is obvious that barca would suffer badly too. Neymar was still adjusting last season, this season he is starting make his place add that with suarez talent we are a good team again. It is not tata and tito mistake that they have to work with alexis and pedro instead of suarez and neymar. Credit must be given to lucho too, but with alexis and pedro instead of suarez and neymar he might not create these wonders. Just my guess, hard to talk about hypotheticals. Anyway a club like barca will not settle with alexis and pedro as starters.
This stat also shows the importance of suarez signing, we may hate zubi and board but the decision to go for suarez was a very good one.
Lucho did a good work with defense and set piece defending though, or should i thank unzue for the later..... He also tried to change the way barca play instead of trying to replicate pep genius like his predecessors. Lucho is not some tactical genius or some brilliant innovator but his experiments clearly worked and i am thankful for him.

Well, if they used the same scale for all three bars, than the goals per game bar would have to be quite small. And you don't compare games to goals, you compare games from one season to games from anothr seoson.

So I am trying to figure out once and for all how many assists our little God actually have, do any of you have any season based statistics on the matter?
I am only counting clean assists, meaning:
- No penalty assists
- No rebound assists
- No redirected assists
Only clean assists. Messi > Neymar > Goal.

This one seems to be incorrect. It states that Messi have made 23 assists for Barca this season, but I know for a fact that he has made 20, not 23.
These are the only ones I am sure about.
2011-12: 29
2012-13: 16
2013-14: 14
2014-15: 20 (ongoing)

You can click on each season and then select assists. At the bottom it shows the opta assists however its also including Argentina so you have to subtract those ones.
You can also use the spanish wiki http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lionel_Messi
It has his assists for each season however it credits him with 152.
