Pedro ran a lot, to no avail. The tactics also made Iniesta look supbar. And Cesc, Busi... Bypassing the middle, thru the wings to cross was never the way this team plays. Iniesta clearing the ball... it was sad to see.

I agree that the team is a mess and the board etc. are an abomination.

However, Messi used to chew the ankles of defenders when they had the ball.

I would also add that I will reserve serious judgement until after next season.

I've watched some older videos, and Messi wasn't heavily marked as he is now. But he also used to pass thru tight defenses using quick 1-2's, something that the players (pedro, alexis, even iniesta, cesc, xavi and alves) seem to have forgotten how to do. That fast passing was MIA this season.
