Article in MD claiming that even days before Tito's death, he was trying to convince (Successfully, as it turns out) Messi to stay at the club after Leo said he was leaving

When I watched Argentina last night this was the first time in a long time where I thought Messi was moving a lot and actually seemed happy. Of course im biased and want him to sstay but when you look at the situation it looks like leaving to another club would do him a world of good, I dont believe he saved himself for the world cup, more that he was annoyed/bothered/frustrated at Barca this season.
He plays so different for Argentina though, a playmaker for a team that prefers to counter and he is great at it.
Hopefully they wont miss as many chances though at the wc as they did tonight.

just read it, but how could they know something like this? And it comes from tv3, so I'm taking it with a pinch of salt.

Definitely . This is bullshit…
Unfortunately, Tito is dead, so he couldn't say such a thing, and Messi can't repeat or say something like that to a media…
