He was enabled by the in game change, took advantage of it, and had a superb 2nd half.


That goal...... One of his best and a real gamechanger for him personally. Starts the run in from midfield, marked the entire way, crisp pass and receives it back, then evades more defenders and finishes perfectly.

Said it from the start of the game. That formation was pathetic. Totally left Aguero and Messi alone on an island without midfield and help against the entire Bosnian defense. Messi had no one to play with.

The very second they brought in Gago and Higuain and switched back to their 4-3-3, the entire team got loose and Messi all the sudden had people to play with.

All of you who were killing Messi in the first half should be ashamed of yourselves.

His poor first hour is due to stress imo, he has so much pressure on him its tough to handle i imagine. Once he scored he started looking like himself again.

Let's not overreact, OK? He score nice goal and had another chance+some runs, but his off ball movement was horrible again.
