Yeah he is still dreaming. I only wish he and the rest of his Argentinian teammates except Messi and Di Maria could wake up soon and start helping out.

Messi and Di Maria are the gods of argentinian football. No doubt about it. Di Maria played a good game, especially in the first half and in overtime. Messi played a fantastic game despite how horribly most of the others played. Created plenty of chances both for himself and others. He didn't have any luck though and the ball just woudn't go in. Great Swiss keeping too. As a big Messi and Argentina fan I'd rather lose to Germany again than to a team like Switzlerland. Some horrible football they represent, 100% defensive. Aweful! Overall a good game where Argentina created tons of chances, just very unlucky. I think Argentina would play better against a team like Holland or Brazil who won't defend 100% like the smaller teams all have in this stage of the cup. If Argentina does not win, I will stop watching football. Football is just so boring without a Messi or Maradona style of player, and I can't see Messi comming back mentally if he loses this world cup. A shame that the greatest players of today are pretty much alone on their team. Players like Messi and Ronaldo deserve so much better.

Genius Leo passed pele and maradona ability wise when he was 17. He is magnificent, pure brilliance. Di Maria also did good today. Masch wasnt very precise with his long balls.

Argies should do what the Dutch are doing - 8 men behind ball and boot it long to Messi/Di Maria to cause havoc!

Lavezzi didn't play badly imo. Or at least he was one of the best attackers whilst he was on.
That thought crossed my mind too during this game.
problem is messi wont win the the air balls
