No it isn't the same. Bananas thrown to blacks is an insult because you are referring to them as monkeys and giving them their favorite food, bananas.
Friend chicken is a very different thing and nowhere near the ballpark of throwing a banana.
Friend chicken and blacks is a stereotype thing. Black Americans are stereotyped for loving friend chicken, so when you associate one with the other, you are stereotyping them.
One is a racist derogatory action, the other is a stereotyping action.
Fried chicken and blacks is like asians and good at math. Purely stereotype.

But Messi is missing chances because he's missing chances, no other reason. In what is known as the best Barca ever with midfield play at its peak Iniesta had 3 assists in the entire 10/11 La Liga season. Those stats are meaningless. Messi always created his own chances. Granted, Rafinha-Rakitic isn't lighting it up right now and the team has issues but still no reason for Messi to be lagging behind Callejon in the goalscoring charts other than his own goalscoring form.

None of the black people I know are insulted by the fried chicken. It has very little prejudicial or racist intent and is purely a stereotype thing, and not even an insulting stereotype. To equate it with throwing a banana which is actually a racist insult, is to belittle the importance and significance of the latter.
Almost every single race has a stereotype associated with them, some more insulting than others, some not insulting at all. Friend chicken is a very benign stereotype.
Though as a black person yourself, I'm not really in position to tell you what should or should not offend you, I'm merely speaking from my own experience.

Ursegor, you're just forgetting Messi is having to work a lot more now, going deeper more often than previously, when he was always closer to goal than he is now. Thus getting more tired, thus not being as clinical in front of goal anymore. migeru is spot on, you're not. Deal with it
