Here in England I would say the vast majority of people hold Ronaldo above Messi. Doesn't stop people from appreciating a great player like Leo though.

Really, cos the last time I saw Ronaldo play in England for Portugal in a friendly at the emirates, he was routinely booed, along with chants of 'you're just a s*** lionel messi'

And if you're talking about ability, well then I think most the world right now would put Ronaldo ahead of Messi rightly or wrongly.

That's because Ronaldo played in england and a lot of people here don't seem to rate players unless they've played here which is ridiculous, the other prime example being Ibrahimovic. also the english press is up Ronaldo's backside.
