Not saying you cant expect Neymar to score similar goals but you cant expect the same number goals AND assists in last years team.

Yeah but if there will be more balance it is more a testament to Neymars development than the team being built around Messi. A lot of stuff Neymar tried last season didn't work.
He picks his spots now more careful. He has an easier time nearing the goal getting passed defenders and providing assists.

Neymar has become a better player but the biggest reason for his improvement is not that it is him being given more responsibility.

Even last season he would have been second only to Messi in terms of a complete attacker assists/goals build up play of any player in the world.. He was just playing under much more of a constricted system.

Allow him more freedom and this is what happens.

Haha yeah, it always happens, when 2 score then they help the last one.
Just showing how important is to get along with your team mates, imagine if suarez had a bad character and couldn't work with ney/messi, everything would fall apart.

I am concerned about Messi's knee - hope it's not hurting. He should sit out mid- week match in case there is an issue. It may only hurt when he is changing direction.
