True, but it doesn't really matter, his DEFACTO salary will double for next 2 years, it will majorly screw us financially, no doubt about that.

No, because it was budgeted and planned already. It is simply an exercise in moving around numbers, something this club has bee doing for ever, it is all about the ebitda being in check, as long as that number is controlled the rest doesn't matter.

No, the board has already budgeted for this, they already know how much the salary will increase over the summer, this is the reason the negotiation for new sponsors are taking longer than people are comfortable with. Barsa is negotiating knowing that both Messi and Neymar will stay over the next season so they have to get the best possible deal even if that takes another 6 months to negotiate. The club can for sure afford Pogba but the question is if it is the best solution, he will cost over 100 millon in transfer and over 10 million net per year in salary, you can get 2 or 3 really good player for that amount of money.

I think you are wastly overestimating the amount of money new sponsorship deals can bring to us. If Ney and Messi will earn 60-70 M/yr more than today, the new sponsorship deals would have to bring the same amount YEARLY JUST TO GET US TO PRESENT FINANCIAL POSITION. And our present financial position is that we can't afford to pay 19M for Nolito.
Now that has a lot to do with bonuses for victories, but who is saying we won't win again this year (in fact we are already clear favs for La Liga and Copa and only Bayern can challenge us in CL, IMO)?

No, you don't understand, the only number that matters is the EBITDA number (Earnings Before Interest, Taxation, Depreciation and Amortisation), as long as that is in check, it doesn't matter what the other numbers says. The important thing to remember here is Amortisation, every year that number goes down for ALL players so the club has more room to wiggle the numbers.

Yes, it can be true. I've read that it will double, because Messi deferred his wages from first two years of his contract. He basically signed 4 year, 32 mil per yr, but he was paid just 22 mil./yr for first two years so now he will be paid 42 mil.

That, and Neymar's renewal rules out Pogba in summer folks, the same about another expensive players like Marquinhos, Stones, Laporte, Verratti (hahaha) etc. We will be lucky if he can get enough money for someone like Nolito. Already today we have financial problems, imagine what will happen if we add 70 mil/yr on new wages for Messi&Ney (their salary increases plus taxes). Maybe Neymar will defer his wages like Messi did, but that's just moving your problems to the future. We are going to be bankrupt so badly...

We will have money to spend on players like we always do, increased wages won't change that. I'm not a huge fan of our board but they will give Lucho a budget to work with like they always do, even if they have to shuffle some numbers around.

Besides we won't likely go for Pogba anyway, his price tag will be far too high. The core of our team is solid right now but if needed Lucho will get what he needs, remember we still have a sponsorship deal being worked out.

Because it goes against his recent performances. He was amazing against River Plate and showed no signs of age. If he was consistently poor for 3-4 months then we could talk about his age ( Example Rooney a while back or this season Ronaldo )

There is nothing to suggest his recent sluggish games have anything to do with age. He isn't quite himself but still in 2016 he has 7 goals and 4 assists which make him our number 1 attacker statistically.
