This last season? Yes, he was. 12/13 he was injured, guess you forgot that, right? And in 13/14 he actually scored a goal that would give us la Liga, wrongly disallowed. Not really. For Barça, even when he had bad games, more often than not he's still contributed somehow. Consistency is one of the things that make him the goat.

Messi is one of the most decisive players ever. Having one bad match, compared to 30 good ones. Your original post, that started this discussion, it's not valid. Comparing pogba or any other player to him makes no sense either. But I surely agree with your last sentence.
