So you agree that he's had bad days and som have been latter stages of competitions.
And in those games he contributed less than he usually does (which we fans term "disappear")
like how Pogba disappeared yesterday, or any other player in the world

If that's the case there's no point arguing, we're wasting time

Basicly what you are saying boils down to "Messi sometimes has a game that is not his best game ever"

Argentina should be winning this tournament without any problem at all now. Assuming they finish first in their group (they likely will even if they lose their next game), they will play either Mexico or Venezuela, two massively inferior teams. If they advance they will either face USA or Ecuador, again it should be a cakewalk. In the final they could either face Colombia or Chile, they should be able to dispach either of them if they play half decently.

Then again it is Argentina, who knows....

If you watched Mexico games you could see they playing well and it's going to be a rough game for Argentina if they face Mexcio.

Mexico could be tough with their home crowd, but they don't hold the ball well at midfield at all, besides Argentina is going to play Venezuela in all likelihood.

I really hope he wins this copa, hopefully he is destined to win at least one trophy for Argentina. Against Panama it seemed like he was given a free role behind the striker with gaitan and lamela either side of him. It will be interesting to see how this works and see if maybe we can use a similar tactic to suit him as he gets older.
