I don't know if he's going to be able to fufill Xavis role.. Xavi was always on his toes looking for a pass, Messi not so much.. So idk if he'll continue to play on the RW, but we should expect a bunch of out of this world passes thats for sure.When he's in his 30's he's going to be a different animal altogether. He'll move from playing the false 9/inside forward to a full out creative midfielder. He's never been blessed with searing pace anyway, and that small burst of acceleration doesn't leave a player well into their 30s (see Robben at the moment).
Messi from 2011 and Messi from 2015 were different, but you could argue 2015 Messi was far more influential, after January of last year he went into crazy form and carried the side to the treble.
