Do you think these are the last years he has left in his prime? Some say Leos prime was years ago, but he had one of his best seasons last year.

When he's in his 30's he's going to be a different animal altogether. He'll move from playing the false 9/inside forward to a full out creative midfielder. He's never been blessed with searing pace anyway, and that small burst of acceleration doesn't leave a player well into their 30s (see Robben at the moment).

Messi from 2011 and Messi from 2015 were different, but you could argue 2015 Messi was far more influential, after January of last year he went into crazy form and carried the side to the treble.

I don't know if he's going to be able to fufill Xavis role.. Xavi was always on his toes looking for a pass, Messi not so much.. So idk if he'll continue to play on the RW, but we should expect a bunch of out of this world passes thats for sure.

His best year overall was in 14/15. He has been by far the best performer this year also (although not as many goals, but him giving away more PKs and FKs to Neymar/Suarez will do that).

He was ridiculous at the Copa.

So he still has at least 3-4 years of best player in the world left in him, if not 5-6. It depends on how his role changes on the team. He may not score as much b/c of Neymar/Suarez but I feel his playmaking will shine more as he gets older.
