Improvin' Perfection!!
The permutations are complicated so can someone tell the best and worst possible scenario if argie win, draw or lose against ecuador?

1. Chile lose; Peru vs Colombia draw and Argentina win with at least 2 GD.
- This way, Argentina will be third

2. Peru vs Colombia draw and Argentina win.
- This way, Argentina will be fourth

3. Peru vs Colombia: Peru win and Argentina win with a higher GD
- This way, Argentina will be fourth

4. Peru vs Colombia: Colombia win and Argentina draw & Praguay lose
- This way, Argentina will be fifth

5. Peru vs Colombia: Peru win and Argentina win with a higher GD
- This way, Argentina will be fifth

6. Peru vs Colombia: Colombia win with a huge GD and Argentina lose with nominal GD & Praguay lose
- This way, Argentina will be fifth

7. Argentina lose and they are out of the WC!

Any win would at least bring Argentina to fifth

I counted at least 5 chances he created and they fucked them all up. Dont understand why Sampaoli insists on playing these average Argentinian league players.

Wasn't able to watch the game, but looking at these highlights it seems that he was quite good. Shocking that that his teammates couldn't score at least one goal from all of those chances he created. Disgusting.

Nothing new...

And if they fail to qualify it will be his fault, again. He should just retire from NT and concentrate on Barça.

His legacy is on the line, regardless if his teammates fucked him once again, history don't remember it, history remember that the best player in the world and GOAT contender failed to qualifying his NT to WC, will be a disaster narrative, disaster. He will be remembered forever for it.

The Peru defenders took the ball off Messi on numerous occasions...it was a really bad game from Messi for his standards.

Messi didn't play a very good match, but he certainly wasn't the main problem. With only a few exceptions he's surrounded by players who have no place in a WC knock-out stage. Wingers who can't cross, a striker who can't head the ball on target unchallenged, midfield that can't link up with its forwards.

Take Mascherano and Messi out of that team, and they'd struggle against Norway.

Bad game!? Lol.

Messi is in perfect shape and last night it was another one of his great performances. Sampaoli's formation is disaster. Messi in AM free role is great, but who's the striker? Nobody from Boca Juniors who scored 5/5 goals in the league. Fantastic! Perhaps the Argentine league goalkeepers are Swiss cheese.
