Personally yes . I've seen barca get 2 trebbles but didn't see Messi win the world cup . It's an easy answer for me considering what Messi has done for the club so far.

I would probably trade the Copa for it, but definitely not the league or CL. We've won enough Copas lately to last us into the next decade, sick of always going all out in that cup.

Messi is more than half the reason of us being so successful in the last decade. And he doesn't have an international trophy when he deserves it.

You can say I don't care what others say about messi if he doesn't win the WC but deep down we all do, and we want him to be be cemented as the best player ever in not just our eyes but in non barca-fans eyes as well. Even messi wants it badly that he would trade his bdors for WC.

I wouldn't trade la liga for anything honestly but if that meant a WC for messi then I would.

Most clubs don't owe so much to a single player as we do to messi. If i was a RM fan I wouldn't have traded league for a cr7 WC, if spain hadn't won a WC I still wouldn't have for iniesta xavi and busi. But for messi I won't think twice. We have already won a lot of leagues in the last decade anyway.

Messi doesn't deserve anything.. football is a team sport he is just unlucky to be born in a time frame where Argentina hasn't developed talent like how Spain, Germany or France has. (as of late)
there has been no injustices, he wasn't cheated in any of the finals/tournaments...

him not getting a world cup doesn't take anything away from his individual skillset and accolades.

Would I like to see Messi do the impossible? sure but this is reality just take a look at that starting 11 and compare it to past winners.. it's a joke what Argentina is now.

Realistically he has no chance of CL or World Cup because of the teams he's playing with. Suarez playing like a donkey doesn't help either and Neymar is gone.

I'd say CL is more likely because the competition isn't as strong this year with the best teams, although Barca will never match Real for sheer luck.

I wouldn't say Argentina are any better than Nigeria or Croatia and Iceland will frustrate them. Nigeria thrashed them the other week. Spain, Germany, Brazil, France have produced far better players over the last 5 or 6 years, while Argentina are still dependent on the likes of Messi and Mascherano and have produced nothing for years.

I dont think Barca will win CL this year, they are too weak and the other teams like City, Psg are too strong. Its UNBELIEVABLE that the greatest player in the history of football has only 1 Cl in 7 years won while playing at Barca. Everybody complaining that he wont win WC but look first at barca, one CL in seven years isnt appropiate to his master class.
